We document every business around Bridgwater Centre Street, North Town Plaza and South Town Plaza, keep hours and services current, and highlight the events, specials and walking routes that make the area feel like a main street rather than a strip mall.

Everything here is maintained by volunteers who live in Bridgwater. Listings are free, businesses are never charged for placement, and corrections are welcome from anyone.

Is this an official City of Winnipeg or property-management website?

No. Around Bridgwater is a community-driven initiative created to help residents and visitors discover local businesses, events and public spaces. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by the City of Winnipeg, any developer, or any property-management company.

How do businesses get listed?

Listings are added by our volunteer team and by business owners through the business owner section. Every listing can be claimed and corrected by the business, and all details are treated as unverified until confirmed.

Is there a cost to be listed?

Standard directory listings are free. Featured placement, campaign artwork, photography and event services are offered separately through Office Eight.

Can I book one of the gathering or photo locations?

You can request planning help for a picnic, gathering or photo session. Locations shown are public or shared spaces, so permissions, permits, property-owner approval and public-space rules may apply and must be confirmed before anything is booked.

How current are hours and offers?
